Inside Solihull drugs bust that found crop 'days from being ready'

Officers made the discovery after forcing entry to an address

Solihull Police have shared pictures from inside a drugs factory raid which uncovered plants that were 'days away from being ready.' West Midlands Police's St Alphege team executed a warrant in Solihull on on Monday December 16, where they found what appeared to be cannabis plants in multiple rooms in a property. The St Alphege team covers Solihull, St Alphege and Blythe.

Officers shared pictures of the cannabis farm on X. A police spokesperson said more than 150 plants were found across five rooms. Officers said they had to force their way into the property.

A number of wires could be seen coming from the ceiling, as well as a thermometer. A police spokesperson said: "The team have conducted a drugs warrant at an address today.

On forcing entry, officers found and seized around 150 plants across five rooms. The crop was days from being ready but, unfortunately for our green-fingered suspects, it won't be hitting the market now.".
