. As well as appearing in television and films, Justina Machado has also been a part of some huge Broadway musicals. In 2008, she starred as Daniela in In The Heights which was followed up by her roles of Dona Smeralda and Josephine in A Free Man of Color in 2010.
She is all set to star in Real Women Have Curves: The Musical which debuts on April 27 and will play Carmen Garcia, Ana's hard-working mother. The musical is based on the play by Josefina Lopez and the HBO film Real Women Have Curves. Justina is dating actor, producer, writer and director Emanuel Gironi and the pair have reportedly been together since 2014.
Emanuel's first ever post on Instagram was of himself, Justina and his mother posing at a convention in Los Angeles.
