Inside Leonardo DiCaprio's 50th birthday bash from carrot cake to A-list guest list

Leonardo DiCaprio turned 50 on Monday, but he celebrated the weekend before with a big bash at his house with high-profile celebs and his parents

Leonardo DiCaprio went all out for his milestone 50th birthday. The Titanic star threw the bash at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, November 9, two days before his actual birthday. The DJ booth was manned by Grammy Award winner Anderson .

Paak and the party went into the early hours of the morning. Celebrities who attended included Brad Pitt , Tobey Maguire, Robin Thick, Odell Beckham Jr, Tyga, Teyana Taylor and his parents Irmelin Indenbirken and George DiCaprio. ” The source also told PEOPLE that the actor was extremely bubbly and social the whole night. "He was incredibly happy and hugging all his guests. Leo was on a high the whole night," the source added.

They also gushed a bit about Pitt, who "was in the front patio of the party the entire night." Brad's girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, was also in attendance. But it wasn't just A-list celebrities.

"A lot of Leo’s old school friends were there, a lot of producers and directors," the insider continued. The party didn't end Saturday night, as Leo was spotted out with his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti at Hollywood hotspot Stella. He reportedly spent four hours at the restaurant with others including Tobey Maguire, Evan Ross, and Joel Edgerton.

Last year, ABC News' Chris Connelly interviewed Leonardo and asked him what he wanted to accomplish before he turned the big 5-0. "You know what? Just one more movie," said Leo, "One more movie." Leo's last film, Killers of the Flower Moon, came out in 2023.

He played Ernest Burkhart, a hitman who was involved in the Osage Indian murders. The actor has one film in production, the Battle of Baktan Cross, which is set to be released in 2025. The crime drama also stars Regina Hall, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor.
