Get Me Out of Here! is almost back on our screens, signalling the countdown to Christmas as Ant and Dec return to host the gruesome ITV show. Although it's always a good watch to see the celebs squirm as they face their greatest fears, there's also been some iconic and unlikely romances sparked between campmates in recent years. From Katie Price and Peter Andre's unforgettable love story and Mark Wright and Emily Scott's steamy massage sessions, via 'throuple' rumours surrounding Helen Flanagan and one of her co-stars, we have taken a look back at the best jungle romances in history.



It comes as former X Factor and N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos has reportedly vowed to end her two-year celibacy as she 'eyes up jungle romance', according to the Mirror . Speaking ahead of joining the likes of former boxer Barry McGuigan, podcaster GK Barry, WAG Coleen Rooney and McFly star Danny Jones in camp, Tulisa hopes to come across as her "true, authentic self" without any ulterior career motives. But sources close to the star claim Tulisa, 36, is hoping her "true, authentic self" is enough to bag her a new romance.

The former X Factor judge has been celibate for two years now but is open to finding love in the star-studded camp, just like Peter Andre and Katie Price did all the way back in 2004. Let's take a closer look at the romances formed in the Australian outback..

It quickly became one of the most iconic romances to come from the ITV show. The pair walked down the aisle just a year after cameras stopped rolling and would go on to have two children and a smash hit reality show of their own before their divorce in 2009. EastEnders star Marc Bannerman and Welsh singer and songwriter Cerys Matthews enjoyed a short-lived romance following their time in the jungle.

They continued to date for four months after leaving the ITV show, before cutting things off towards 2008. TOWIE star Mark Wright is of course now happily married and loved up with Michelle Keegan, with the pair marked as one of the hottest celeb power duos. However, just a year before him and the Corrie star became official he was getting hot and steamy on screen with model Emily Scott.

The pair had multiple flirty exchanges, including risque massages, with Mark at one point stripping off in front of her to go for a dip in the jungle creek. When Emily left the show, she revealed that she did indeed have a crush on Mark and couldn't wait to be reunited with him back in the UK, but Mark told The Sun at the time that there was nothing more to it than a "friendly flirt". Helen Flanagan and David Haye sparked romance rumours after first meeting in camp back in 2012.

During a recent appearance on Celebs Go Dating, Helen became tearful as she disclosed she "fell in love" with David when they got together in 2023 as she opened up about the challenges she faced while dating the boxer, who was in an open relationship with his girlfriend Sian Osbourne at the time. Despite rumours of a 'throuple' involving Helen, David, and Sian, Helen clarified the rumours on the 'situationship' were untrue but admitting: "I didn't mean to fall in love with him but I did." Following in co-star Mark's footsteps, TOWIE icon Joey Essex and his flirty persona soon caught the eye of model Amy Willerton.

Their on-screen chemistry and steamy massages even caused Rebecca Adlington to blurt out: "I can't take the sexual tension anymore!" The pair dated briefly after the show, however the romance was short-lived. There seems to be a theme surrounding I'm A Celeb romances, with TOWIE star Ferne McCann also striking up the possibility of a romantic connection with Union J singer George Shelley in 2015. Despite going on a series of dates once the series wrapped, the pair remained friends.

The 2015 series of the ITV show was a double dose of love in the air, as Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthew and Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattinson also raised some eyebrows. However with Spencer lasting only three days in the jungle before the boot, their time was cut short. They did briefly date outside of the show for seven months, before Spencer moved on with wife Vogue Williams.

Flying the flag once more for Made In Chelsea, Georgia Toffolo came out a winner not only for being crowned queen of the jungle but also for her romance with YouTuber Jack Maynard. Although Jack also left the show after just a couple of days, the pair stayed in contact. Despite no romance confirmed, their on-screen chemistry was undeniable to viewers of the 2017 series.
