This village is just a few miles from Henley-on-Thames, which has been previously named by The Times and The Telegraph as one of the best places to live in the English countryside. The Countryfile presenter enjoys life in a picturesque countryside dwelling, along with his family, dogs, and horses. In a 2023 interview with Metro, he shared insights into their idyllic rural home: "We live in an old flint cottage in Oxfordshire.
It is in a rural setting surrounded by woodland, fields and nature." Reveling in the harmony of their natural oasis, he said: "We have plenty of deer that like to eat our roses, moles that dig up the lawn and even a wild population of wallabies that bounce into our garden and chase the dogs, but we love it." Fawley, where the star resides, boasts the magnificent Fawley Court, a Neoclassical country mansion conceived in the 17th and 18th centuries.
This Grade I-listed gem, designed by Sir Christopher Wren with gardens by Capability Brown, once featured an expansive deer park that reached into Henley Park. Furthermore, Fawley is adorned with the historical St Mary's Church, tracing back to the 12th century. The churchyard houses two notable mausolea dating from 1752 and 1862.
While Fogle also holds a property in West Londona lucrative five-bedroom valued at £2.7 million according to MailOnline and formerly listed for rent at £26,000 a monthhe rents this out. Seeing as charming Fawley lies just a stone's throw away from the pricier Henley-on-Thames, property values in the village carry a premium tag.
