“We are on track on wages. A large part of wage increments were rolled out in January and the balance is rolled out with effect from April 1," said Jayesh Sanghrajka, chief financial officer of Infosys, during a post-Q4 earning press conference on Thursday. In January, Infosys rolled out salary hikes for its employees lower than in previous years.
The IT firm reportedly hiked salary in the range of 5 per cent to 8 per cent for most, depending on their performance rating. On FY26 hiring plans, he said the company expects to hire over 20,000 freshers. Infosys employs over 3.
23 lakh professionals and last implemented salary hikes in November 2023. Infosys on Thursday posted an 11.7 per cent year-on-year decline in its net profit to Rs 7,033 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025 quarter (Q4 FY25).
Its revenues during January-March 2025 rose 7.9 per cent YoY to Rs 40,925 crore, compared with Rs 37,923 crore a year ago. Infosys’ net profit had stood at Rs 7,969 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
