com/hBwm51sJoj — Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) September 16, 2024 Infinix is working on a phone that measures just 6mm in thickness. The publication has also shared live images of the device, showing its profile compared to an iPhone. The leaked image reveals a phone with a curved display, likely utilizing 3D curved glass.

The design features a back panel that smoothly tapers towards the edges, with a central frame connecting the front and back to maintain a sleek profile. While only the back panel is visible in the images, it appears to draw design inspiration from the Infinix Hot 50 5G. The rear panel includes a rectangular camera module with three camera sensors and an LED flash.

The phone’s slim design might be attributed to the use of silicon-carbon battery cells. Compared to traditional graphite used in lithium-ion batteries, silicon has a higher energy density. It can store more lithium ions per unit of volume, enabling the use of smaller batteries while maintaining the same capacity.

The leaked images compare the Infinix phone directly with an iPhone Pro/Pro Max model, highlighting a significant contrast in thickness. To put it into perspective, the iPhone 16, launched recently, measures 7.80mm in thickness, whereas the iPhone 16 Pro Max is slightly thicker at 8.
