IndiGo announces its first direct international flight to Bangkok from Pune

IndiGo will launch its first international direct flight from Pune to Bangkok starting November 22, operating three times a week. The airline will also introduce a direct route between Pune and Thiruvananthapuram from October 27. With this addition, IndiGo aims to enhance its domestic and international connectivity, making Pune a significant travel hub.

PUNE: IndiGo has announced its first direct international flight from the Pune airport. According to airline officials, the Pune-Bangkok flight will begin operations from November 22.

The flight will offer customers a seamless and convenient travel experience, making it an ideal choice for those planning a vacation with their families during the festive holidays or winter break, airline officials said. The flight will operate three days a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Pune (6E-1947). It will take off from Pune at 11.



10pm and land in Bangkok at 4.45am. From Bangkok, the flight will take off at 1.

15am and reach Pune at 4.15am on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. In the domestic sector, the airline will start a direct flight between Pune and Thiruvananthapuram which will commence operations from October 27.

In addition to the new flights, IndiGo had recently also enhanced connectivity on Pune – Bhopal, Pune-Chennai, Pune – Ahmedabad, Pune-Indore and Pune-Raipur routes. The introduction of these flights will further bolster the airline’s domestic and international connectivity. Pune presently has got two direct international connections to Dubai operated by SpiceJet and to Singapore operated by Vistara. Indigo is also expected to begin a direct flight to Dubai from Pune soon.
