India-Spec KTM 390 Enduro To Launch Tomorrow – Key Details

GaadiWaadi -2025 KTM 390 Enduro R uses the same suspension setup as the 390 Adventure in India and both have several commonalitiesAfter its global reveal at EICMA 2024 in Milan, the new KTM 390 Enduro R made its way to India Bike Week in Goa later that year. The all-new 390 Adventure is already on sale in India and is offered alongside the 390 Adventure X. Their sibling, the 390 Enduro R, is all set to launch in India tomorrow with the local version getting several updates.

The 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R uses the same 399 cc LC4c single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine as the 390 Adventure, putting out 46 PS and 39 Nm. Globally, it sits alongside the 125 Enduro R and 690 Enduro R in KTM’s dual-sport lineup. In India, though, it will likely slot between the 390 Adventure X and the standard 390 Adventure.



It is underpinned by a steel trellis frame with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear (17-inch in the 390 Adventure) spoked wheels. It gets USD forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 285 mm front disc (320 mm in the 390 Adventure) with an axial calliper and a 240 mm rear disc, both supported by dual-channel ABS.

This leads to a drop in seat height by 30 mm to 860 mm and the ground clearance has also reduced by 19 mm.It continues to carry a fuel tank capacity of 9 litres and weighs 5 to 6 kilograms lighter than the 390 Adventure.

With minimal bodywork and a sleek profile, the 390 Enduro R is built for agility on tough terrain. It packs useful features like switchable ABS, a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and selectable ride modes.

Once the 390 Enduro R launches, it’ll enter the Indian market without a direct competitor in its price range, giving it a unique spot in the dual-sport segment. That said, the Kawasaki KLX 230 comes closest as an alternative.
