The Indianola wrestling team was a balanced one in 2023-24 , bringing back a lot of returning talent and seeing new names expected to contribute on the varsity roster. Head coach Clint Manny tells KNIA Sports there are a number of contributors from last year that are now seniors, such as Ryan Young, and Jake and AJ Pontier, who all wrestled beginning as freshman and and are big point scorers for the Indians this year. “We are looking for a big jump out of those guys, and if they just pick up where they left off last year we are going to be in a good spot and I think they are going to turn some heads as the season progresses.
