The Indianola girls basketball team will travel to North Polk High School tonight to take on the #2 in class 4A Comets in a non-conference tilt tonight. The Indians have won three out of their last four after an 0-2 start, but will have their hands full with a Comets squad that is off to a 6-0 start, scoring over 69 points per game and winning by over 23 points per game and wins over ranked DCG and Gilbert. The Indians are off to a 2-0 start in Little Hawkeye Conference play, and tonight marks the first of a pair of top four ranked teams in back-to-back matchups, with the squad hosting #4 Norwalk tomorrow night.

Action starts at 7:30pm The Indianola boys swimming team is also in action tonight, as they head to Ottumwa for a triangular meet along with Ames. The Indians swam well in a crowded meet with multiple state meet contenders on Tuesday at Southeast Polk High School, and will try to gain momentum before the winter break. Swimming starts at 5:30pm.
