According to USA TODAY's Steve Berkowitz, the Hoosiers officially clinched a spot within the top six teams of the Big Ten during Week 11. As revealed by Berkowitz, Iowa losing to UCLA and Minnesota losing to Rutgers helped cement that Indiana would be within that threshold regardless.
The Hoosiers and the Oregon Ducks are the only teams in the conference who have yet to lose a game this season. Throughout this season, Cignetti has earned $600,000 in bonuses, while also securing an automatic one-year contract extension along with a $250,000 raise.
