Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant repaired the innings up to certain extent after India got off to a shaky start in the opening Test against Bangladesh at Chepauk. The two stitched 62 runs for the fourth wicket as Hasan Mahmud packed Pant for 39 early in the second session, which was his fourth of the innings.
