The duo are involved in 195-run unbeaten partnership for the 7th wicket after the visitors had reduced them to 144 for 6 before tea on the opening day. Ashwin scored a record 6th Test hundred off 108 balls while Jadeja remain unbeaten on 86 off 117 balls as India finished Day 1 on 339 for 6 in 80 overs. Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud was the pick of the bowlers claiming 4/58 in 18 overs.
