More info I'm A Celebrity has returned, much to the delight of fans across the nation, with our favourite duo Ant and Dec guiding ten fresh-faced celebs into life down under in the Australian jungle.

The debut episode served us a twist from the get-go, with the intrepid participants split into two groups one lot cosying up in a lush villa while their counterparts bonded on the sands. As viewers eagerly settled in for the new series' first serving, they couldn't help but ponder over ITVs choice to ramp up the theatrics with an intensely dramatic soundtrack. Social media was buzzing on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter), with spectators quick to voice their reactions.

One bewildered fan posted: "Whoever is responsible for the music on I'm a celeb are getting too carried away...

Why are they playing a dramatic version of the lion sleeps tonight? ? ? ". Another fan of the show noted: "The music choice is wild sorry #imacelebrity." A different take came from another watcher: "WHY DO THEY DO DRAMATIC MUSIC NONE STOP.

LIKE INTERSTELLAR OR SOMETHING. STOP IT ! #IMACELEB.", reports the Express .

While the sound design choices may have mystified some, the sheer enthusiasm for the shows comeback wasn't dampened, with one enthusiast exclaiming, " I can tell that this year's series will be so iconic #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity." Another chimed in, sharing their excitement: "So excited that IAC is back @antanddec @imacelebrity #imacelebrity." In the meantime, the campmates were seen pulling out all the stops to snag the title of the jungles inaugural camp leaders, navigating through a thrilling array of challenges and firmly setting the pace for a season not to be missed.

Tulisa and Alan emerged as the winners, and they selected Danny and Barry to face the first Bushtucker trial. The duo were placed in underground chambers and tasked with unlocking stars from padlocks. In typical I'm A Celebrity style, the pair weren't alone - they were joined by 15 snakes as they lay on the ground.

During the challenge, Danny caused a stir when he yelled out that he had a snake in his trousers. An animal handler was called over to remove the unexpected guest from his pants. I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX followed by I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show on ITV2.
