Following her show-stopping performance during the 500th episode of "DWTS," Maher boldly addressed the buzz surrounding the possibility of a real relationship between her and Bersten. The rugby union player acknowledged that she and Bersten were aware of fans shipping them, and she had a playful response to it.
"We see it all over," she told E! News. "And honestly, keep doing it, people. We love it.
" However, Maher quickly clarified the nature of their relationship, explaining that while they share a close bond, it's strictly professional. For the U.S.

” "I love my teammates, and I love him. I think we’re building something really beautiful here," the 28-year-old added. When asked what was next for her and Bersten after the competition, the Olympic bronze medalist expressed hope for continued collaboration.
However, Maher jokingly added, "Who knows, though—it could be the last time we ever talk after this. I keep spreading lies." The correspondent responded, saying, "No, it won’t," and mentioned a potential podcast together.
