A video doing the rounds on social media allegedly shows rats hopping around utensils kept in the kitchen of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT), sparking outrage online. The incident- which unfolded on Saturday, came to light when a student visited the Radha-Krishna Bhawan mess for lunch and spotted two rats jumping inside a cooker in which food was being prepared. The aggrieved students took a video of the incident and posted it on social media, while also questioning the food hygiene practices of the institute.
