IDFC FIRST Bank launches Ashva Credit Card: A look at key features and fees

IDFC FIRST Bank on Thursday (September 19) launched the Ashva Credit Card. This new metal credit card, powered by Visa, combines India's rich cultural heritage with modern sophistication, IDFC FIRST Bank said in a statement. The Ashva Credit Card offers benefits and features for those who frequently travel and seek luxury experiences.

It is crafted from high-quality metal and includes exclusive perks designed for those who appreciate both style and substance, the bank said. Key features of Ashva Credit Card Low forex charges: 1% fees on foreign currency transactions. Rewards: 10x reward points on spends above ₹20,000 in a statement cycle and on your birthday.



Airport lounge access: 4 domestic and 2 international lounge visits per quarter. Trip cancellation cover: Reimbursement of up to ₹25,000 annually for non-refundable flight and hotel cancellations. Movie perks: Buy one, get one free movie tickets with up to ₹400 off on the second ticket twice a month via BookMyShow.

Golf privileges: Up to 24 rounds or lessons per year. The appeal of metal cards A recent survey shows strong customer preference for metal credit cards. About 70% of customers are more likely to use metal cards frequently, while 80% of affluent individuals favor metal over plastic cards, even with the same benefits.

The survey also found that 55% of respondents would consider switching banks just to access a premium metal card, IDFC FIRST Bank said.
