The Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford played host to its annual Battle of Britain Air Show at the weekend (Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15). Historic aircraft took to the sky to perform for the museum's visitors. Alongside the air show, the museum had a range of activities on for the whole family from living history groups to fairground rides.

The event is a part of their flying season that happens every year, which starts in spring and runs through to autumn with regular events occurring during this period. The air shows remain popular and draw in crowds from near and far. The museum was also open for visitors to freely wander around their range of exhibitions such as the AirSpace display.

There was also live music and dancing throughout the day. If you missed out on the air show last weekend, the IWM Duxford has one last show to finish the season coming up in October. The Flying Finale will take place on Saturday, October 5, to celebrate the end of the flying season and the successes of their previous shows.
