Music fans are in for a nostalgic treat as Inverness Ice Centre prepares to host one of the biggest ‘90s music events of 2025. On Saturday, May 3, Inver90s will bring together some of the most iconic names in ‘90s music for a one-night celebration of hits. Livin’ Joy - famous for their UK number one smash hit Dreamer - will headline the event promising a performance full of their Eurodance classics, including Don’t Stop Movin’ and Follow The Rules.
• Sign up for our free daily newsletters Joining them is legendary BBC Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce, the mastermind behind Dance Anthems, who will deliver a set packed with the anthems that helped shape the UK dance scene. Ultrabeat Live, featuring vocalist Rebecca Rudd, will perform chart-topping hits like Pretty Green Eyes, bringing the unmistakable sound of Clubland to the Highlands. Also on the bill is Ian Van Dahl, who will be performing global hits like Castles in the Sky, Will I, and Reason - tracks that ruled the airwaves in the early 2000s.
The bill also features The Oasis Experience, one of the Britpop legend’s top tribute bands, along with Now That's What I Call Indie who will be playing the biggest ‘90s indie anthems. The event is the brainchild of event manager Russell Aitchison and Simon Paul, a music producer and licensed premises boss who has lived in Inverness for over 20 years. Simon, also known as Lost Witness, has enjoyed success with multiple top 40 hits, including the dance classic Happiness Happening.
Simon said: "This is the first event of this scale to hit Inverness in a long time, so it’s going to be something special for the Highlands. “To have legends like Livin' Joy, Dave Pearce, Ultrabeat, and Ian Van Dahl all under one roof for one night is huge. It's a throwback to one of the greatest eras of music.
” Tickets for Inver90s go on sale at 8am tomorrow. The announcement of Inver90s follows the success of Ministry of Sound Classical this summer which was organised by LCC Live. Skerryvore, Callum Beattie and Ministry of Sound Ibiza are all set to perform at Inverness Leisure this December 6-8.
