Qatar tribune Tribune news network doha The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Qatar, hosted the live streaming of the website launch for the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) on November 12, 2024, on the ICC premises. The event was graced by Ambassador of India to Qatar HE Vipul, Deputy Chief of Mission at Embassy of India Sandeep Kumar, and First Secretary at Embassy of India Vaibhav Tandale. ICC Vice President Subramanya Hebbagelu welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the Indian ambassador emphasised the importance of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in fostering stronger connections with the Indian diaspora. He encouraged the community to participate in large numbers in the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, scheduled to take place in Bhubaneshwar, India, from January 8 to 10, 2025. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by ICC General Secretary Mohan Kumar.



The proceedings were skillfully anchored by ICC Head of School Activities Shantanu Deshpande. The event also saw participation from other ICC management committee members, community leaders, and Indian diaspora members. The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrates the contributions of overseas Indians to their homeland and provides a platform for meaningful engagement.
