Ian O’Doherty: Technology annoys me, but AI genuinely frightens me – and it should worry you too

Everybody has a deep, dark secret – something they hope the rest of the world will never find out for fear they face a lifetime of scorn, contempt and ridicule. In my case, one of my deep, dark secrets (I have plenty, but only one I am prepared to grudgingly fess up to) is that I am a complete technophobe. Not only do I hate technology, but technology hates me.
