Spongecola's Yael Yuzon got his "A Game of Thrones" copy signed by Ser Jorah Mormont himself, Iain Glen . On Instagram, Yael's wife Karylle posted photos of a dinner gathering of "Quezon" stars, crew, and other guests. Yael was one lucky fanboy as he also got to take pictures with Iain.
"A visiting artist all too generous to share stories, answer questions & learn about Filipino culture," Karylle said about Iain. Iain wrote in his message, "For Yael and K, with a lot of love, Iain Glen, (Ser Jorah Marmont)." In "Quezon," Iain will portray Leonard Wood , the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927.
Meanwhile, Karylle will play Aurora Quezon, the wife of Manuel L. Quezon who is played by Jericho Rosales . Other cast members include Mon Confiado (Emilio Aguinaldo), Benjamin Alves (younger Quezon), Romnick Sarmenta (Sergio Osmeña), JC Santos (Manuel Roxas), Joross Gamboa (Eduardo Rusca), and Cris Villanueva (Joven).
Production is underway for the upcoming biopic. It follows the life of Manuel L. Quezon, a lawyer and a soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.
It will highlight his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo. "Quezon" is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse" following " Heneral Luna " and " Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral ." —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA Integrated News.
