The happy couple, who first met as teenagers, are planning to exchange vows in September 2026. And Emily has spilled all the beans on their wedding plans so far.The actress told RSVP Live: “In the past week I’ve gotten really excited about it.

“I did my bridesmaids day with my best friends, and that really got me into the swing of things. All day I’ve been googling celebrants, ceremonies, and all sorts of different things.“To be honest, me and Ryan are very loose.

We’re not the most serious organised people. We’re kind of floating along, doing a bit here, a bit there.”Luckily the pair have a multitude of “talented” friends that can help out for the big day.

She explained: “We’ve a lot of really close multi-talented friends that work in a lot of industries so the majority of the stuff will be done by our mates which is really, really nice. We’re not stressed at all, and I don’t think we ever will be.“We’ve got the venue, we’ve got the band and that’s what really matters for now.

“I wish it was low-key. There will be around 180 people there.” Emily arrived in Carrigstown as Gwen in 2023 and said how thrilled her family were when she nabbed the role.

She told The Irish Sun: “My granny used to watch it religiously and I lived with her for a while so I did watch it.“All my aunties, uncles, cousins, my mum – everybody is from Dublin.CAREER PATH“They were really excited, I have a super supportive big family.

”She fell into acting at 19-years-old after her dad signed her into an acting school.Emily said: “It’s kind of a weird story of how I got into it. When I was younger I didn’t really have a goal or path I wanted to be on and then one day my dad rang me and was like, ‘You’re moving to Dublin – I’ve booked you into an acting course’.

“And before then I hadn’t really thought about it but I was like, ‘I’ll go down for the craic and see where it goes’.“I loved it and I’ve been doing it ever since.”.
