I will consult first before resigning – Tudravu

NEWLY nominated Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu, will consult with the Ministry of i-Taukei Affairs, the Minister, and the Permanent Secretary regarding the steps he should take in resigning as chairperson of the Tailevu Provincial Council. “I think it will be only proper that I step down from there, because of the task that has been given, that is there with the Commissioner of Police,” Mr Tudravu said. “But I will consult the i-Taukei Affairs, the Minister and the Permanent Secretary on what’s their advice in regards to that.

” Mr Tudravu is set to begin his tenure as Commissioner of Police on February 3, 2025.
