Jacob Ramsey has had a hard time with injuries in the last 18 months, but believes he is now back to his best . The 23-year-old made two goals in Aston Villa's 4-2 win over Celtic on Wednesday night after scoring his first at Villa Park in over a year in the previous game against West Ham. Ramsey also created seven chances across those two appearances and appears to be over his injury problems which have stinted his progress under Unai Emery.
"Since the boss came in, before my metatarsal injury, Wednesday is probably the best I have felt out there," Ramsey admitted. "That is going back a year-plus. I just want to continue feeling well, continue feeling healthy.

The main thing is to just stay healthy. "When the manager first came in I think I was playing my best football.
I looked a completely different player after my injuries but I think tonight was probably the first game after the Euros I have felt back to my best. I felt fit and healthy and fingers crossed I can keep it up." Ramsey played an important role in Villa's victory over the Scottish champions, but it was Morgan Rogers who stole the headlines after he bagged his first club hat-trick on the biggest stage.
"The past 12 months he has been on fire and his career has gone to the next level," Ramsey said of Rogers. "Hopefully he can continue. He is a really top guy and me and him are really close.
He was really good on Wednesday night. "When we were growing up he was at West Brom. He made his debut for them when he was 16, which says it all.
He moved on to Man City, won the Youth Cup and was one of the standout players. "Then he had a couple of bad loans but that is just part of football. I think he has always had that confidence and self-belief and you can probably see that tonight and in previous games, he always has confidence to get on the ball, whether he makes a bad pass or whatever.
Morgan has always been a top player." What do you make of Ramsey's comments? Tell us here.
