A former soap star says she will soon be moving out of the million-pound home bought by her footballer ex. Helen Flanagan, 34, from Bury, lives in an eight-bedroom home in Bolton with the three children she shares with ex-fiancé and Bristol Rovers footballer, Scott Sinclair. The former Westholme School pupil is best known for her role as Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, Coronation Street.

Speaking on The Declutter Hub Podcast this week, she said that she will soon be leaving the family home . She said: “We’re actually selling the house. "It’ll be nice to have a change.

I’m used to moving house. “It actually makes me sad that I’m going to be leaving this house soon because I actually put so much effort into it. When we moved, I put a lot of my savings into doing the house up and stuff.

“I’m lucky to live here but it’s a lot to keep on top of. "I think I’m going to struggle to downsize ..

.[but] a smaller house will be more manageable." Helen first joined the Coronation Street cast in 2000 when she was nine, leaving the soap in 2012 and then returning briefly in 2017 before leaving again in 2018 to go on maternity leave.

Helen added that it was "quite a big thing for her to live in a house for that amount of time" as she was used to moving to lots of different places with Scott as part of his job. Before they split in 2022 after 13 years together, the couple previously lived in rented homes in Cheshire, Swansea, Scotland, Birmingham, London and Bath.

She said: “It was really nice to finally have a family home. “Obviously, it didn’t go how I wanted it to go, but it’s been lovely to have the family home, especially when I moved into the house when Charlie [the couple’s youngest child] was about three months old so it was nice to have our own family house and not be renting. “We eventually moved back to the area that I’m from and he bought this beautiful house for me as a surprise.

“It was very sweet but I don’t know actually if it was the right timing because Charlie was only about three months old. “I was struggling postnatally and I had the two little girls and I probably needed a bit more time. It was a rush to move into the house .

.. I felt like I had to be Wonder Woman.

” Helen previously shared regular updates on her Instagram page, thesinclairhome, before the split. She has had "extensive" renovations done since moving into the Bolton property , including adding a large bespoke dressing room, a pink utility room and a Harry Potter-themed playroom. When asked by host Lesley Spellman where Helen planned to move next, she replied: “I don’t actually know where I want to live.

"I’m not too sure because I’m living in my hometown in Lancashire [Bolton] but I don’t know where I actually want to live. I’ve always wanted to live in London. “I want a fresh break.

I don’t know if I want to stay in my hometown. "I feel like I want a change because even though everything is great now, it’s been a really kind of quite heavy few years for me. “In a way, I was kind of sad at the thought of leaving this house but I think it will be a really lovely fresh change.

“I’ve kind of got an idea of maybe where I’d want to live, but I kind of say to my friends, I just don’t want to put too much pressure on myself to have the answer of where I want to move to.” Helen recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating but admitted mid-series that she was already dating her current boyfriend, ex-footballer Robbie Talbot, who lives in Liverpool. She also talked on the podcast about how having ADHD impacts her home and work life after being diagnosed when she was 16.
