I love a bottomless brunch, but I'm always on the hunt for one that is unique - one that stands out. As lovely as it is, I don't always want the bog-standard sausage and baked beans dish with a few mimosas. There's a few brilliant bottomless brunches in Birmingham.

Dirty Martini does a 'birdcage' of pulled beef and cheese sliders, 'nduja arancini, and smashed avocado bruschetta - along with a range of delicious martinis. It's one of my favourites. But I'm sorry to Dirty Martini, I think I've found one that's topped yours completely.

Because on the weekend I visited Kilo Ziro in Digbeth to try their Graze & Refill experience. Each veggie graze board includes a selection of locally sourced cheeses (which you can replace with vegan cheese if you'd like), locally made artisan bread, infused dipping oils, foraged chutney and jams, marinated olives and a selection of anti-pasti. Alongside this you can choose to enjoy 90 mins of unlimited artisan fizz refills or up to three glasses of wine, three pints of craft beer, or three mocktails.

The Graze & Refill experience at Kilo Ziro in Digbeth (Image: Megan Archer-Fox) My friend and I went along on a Sunday afternoon (the website states it's only available on a Sunday, and must be pre-booked) and quickly decided it was the most elegant bottomless brunch we'd ever experienced. The staff were so friendly, from start to finish, and helped with any questions we had about the menu. I opted for the unlimited fizz while my friend asked if she could have two glasses of wine and one mocktail.

The artisan fizz they served was the nicest I've ever tried, and I managed to get through four delicious glasses before the 90 minutes was up (and that was the perfect amount). The cheeses they served were goats cheese, blue stilton and a rich cheddar - and it was honestly hard to choose my favourite. I'm no cheese connoisseur, just a simple, cheese-loving gal, and these cheeses were the best I'd ever had in my 32 years of life.

We quickly got to pairing them with chunks of bread, and dipping them in the fresh oils and testing which of the chutneys and jams matched best. It was heavenly. The best bottomless brunch I've had.

The Graze & Refill experience at Kilo Ziro in Digbeth (Image: Megan Archer-Fox) We ran out of bread about 45 minutes in and asked our waiter if we could have a little more and he very kindly brought out a fresh basket, free of charge. There's a 90 minute limit for the Graze and Refill experience but we never felt rushed. Our waiter came to tell us when we were close to the end of our slot and by then we were stuffed with cheese and wine.

I'm 100% in a hurry to go back - and try out their wine refill wall. If you'd like to visit too, see kilozirobar.com for more information.

The Graze & Refill experience costs £30 each, which includes a £10 deposit to be paid upon booking. It's based in the Custard Factory at 1 Gibb Street, Birmingham, B9 4BF. Disclaimer - the food and drink in this review was paid for by BirminghamLive and KiloZiro did not know we were visiting.
