The Grand National is the biggest horse racing event of the year and a tipster who backed the 50-1 winner in 2022 has revealed his picks for the 2025 edition.

A savvy tipster, who astoundingly predicted the 50-1 Grand National winner in 2022, has unveiled his picks for this year's iconic race. The Grand National, which dates back to 1839, remains one of the crown jewels in British horse racing . Celebrated for its storied legacy and its reputation as a grueling challenge across four miles, two-and-a-half furlongs, and 30 formidable fences at Aintree, it has seen icons such as Red Rum - who famously claimed three victories in the 1970s - secure their place in racing legend.

Fans and punters alike are now watching to see if social media tipster @MaxRacingTips can pull off another miracle, having shocked many by tipping Noble Yeats at huge odds to win in 2022. As for the 2025 Grand National, he's named Perceval Legallois and Vanillier as his top picks. After Noble Yeats's improbable triumph, @MaxRacingTips' tweet quickly went viral, with delighted punters sharing their winnings.

One user revealed a slip showing a £20 each-way flutter that yielded £620, while others filled the comment section with praise, posting things like "You beauty" and "F****** unreal." Perceval Legallois, currently listed at 10-1, is trained by Gavin Cromwell, who has enjoyed a superb year with wins in major contests like the Kerry National with Flooring Porter and the Cheltenham Gold Cup thanks to Inothewayurthinkin. Although Cromwell hasn't yet secured a Grand National win, he brings a formidable trio to this year's renewal - with Perceval Legallois among the most heavily backed.

The seven-year-old will carry 10st 12lb under jockey Mark Walsh and has delivered strong performances in tough handicaps, making him a solid candidate for the extended trip. Speaking to the Racing Post , Cromwell said: "We have three great chances, and I genuinely can't split them. They all bring something different to the table.

" Racing analyst Kevin Blake, speaking on behalf of Betfair, echoed Cromwell's optimism, describing Perceval Legallois as "a horse with the perfect profile for Aintree." Vanillier, priced at 18-1, is another Cromwell-trained runner with serious credentials. The striking grey, owned by Mrs.

H. M. Keaveney, was a brave runner-up in the 2023 Grand National and is making his third appearance in the race.

Renowned for his stamina, Vanillier could benefit significantly if rainfall softens the track conditions, although there doesn't seem to be much chance of that given the current forecast. Blake commented: "Vanillier's form over long distances is rock-solid, and he's a live contender." Cromwell's pursuit of his maiden Grand National title adds further excitement to the contest.

Plus, with last year's champion, I Am Maximus, leading a strong Irish challenge, the 2025 Grand National is shaping up to be a thrilling spectacle..
