SAINTS boss Ivan Juric admitted Kamaldeen Sulemana is "a little bit impatient" as he looks to end his hunt for a Premier League goal. Kamaldeen, 22, has emerged as a key player since Juric's appointment as manager but his only goal and assist this season came in the FA Cup. The speedy forward could have added another in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Burnley but shot into a crowd rather than setting up Tyler Dibling.

Juric insists Kamaldeen should be encouraged despite his lack of end-product, ahead of the weekend's clash with local rivals AFC Bournemouth. "He did some really good things, I think he's a little bit impatient at the moment, he wants to do one-on-one in the situation that he has to play," said Juric. "I think it's normal because he's really feeling good, he wants to do his best, and I'm sure that what I saw in the training, even today, he will score the goals.

" Kamaldeen has appeared in six of seven league matches under Juric, missing only the 3-1 defeat to Newcastle United through injury. He has recorded three goals and six assists from 60 appearances in all competitions for Saints, since a £22million from Stade Rennes in January 2020..
