IT’S the iconic villa millions of us tune into twice a year. But did you know that the actual Love Island villa in South Africa looks nothing like what it does on our TV screens?tiktok/@travelwithholsOne fitness lover shared what the Love Island villa really looks like in person[/caption]TV viewers have seen plenty of drama on the iconic day bedsRextiktok/@travelwithholsBut in real life, the area is dedicated to relaxing massages[/caption]One person who got to see the lavish pad in person is TikToker and personal trainer @travelwithhols, who also shared a cheeky tour of the famous reality TV setting on social media.Even upon entrance, the holiday-goer – who spent three nights there with her partner – said that the property ”looks very different than it does on TV”.

”They have a whole set that’s built up,” the fitness lover told viewers in the video. While on our screens, Love Island super fans see plenty of white and vibrant colours, the gorgeous villa is more toned-down for other guests. After entering the South African pad, which they visited around this time last year, the personal trainer had to walk just a few steps before she reached the iconic pool we all recognise so well.

The pool was behind plenty of jaw-dropping moments during the last Love Island All Stars season – won by Gabby Allen and professional bombshell Casey O’Gorman – including the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. The sports guru went on: ”It is a big house, where there are rooms that are available for you to stay in.”There is a communal breakfast area, where it goes out to the well-known terrace.

”The personal trainer, who added that the villa seemed a lot bigger on TV, has plenty of facilities for guests to make use of, including a life-size rugby pitch. Those who stay at the posh pad can also borrow bikes to soak up the glorious weather and sun while keeping fit and admiring the gorgeous views. Meanwhile, the outdoor area where Love Islanders have their day beds is where the actual guests of the villa can enjoy a relaxing massage.

After several people online refused to believe that this is really the famous villa, the personal trainer went on in the comments: ”The set they put on is crazy but in real life it really isn’t that big like you see on screen so clever what they can do with camera angles.”The clip has since taken the platform by storm – and even some celebs who’ve already been there, including Olivia Hawkins, couldn’t believe what the villa looked like without the added extras.Love Island winners - where they are nowEVERY year Love Island opens its doors to more sexy Islanders who are hoping for a holiday romance that could turn into more.
