‘I nearly put it on my Instagram story’ — RTE star Laura Fox opens up on wedding plans

Laura Fox is well in the swing of it when it comes to wedding planning and we couldn’t be more excited!The 2FM star announced her engagement to her long-term partner Brian Moran in August of last year, just after they celebrated their nine year anniversary.Chatting to Extra.ie at the launch of the Platinum VIP Style Awards for 2025, Laura spilled the beans on her dress shopping experience and whether or not she’s found the one.

I’ve four bridesmaids, but Emma Power was on air, so obviously, you know, that’s kind of a priority.



My sister was at Sabrina Carpenter in Copenhagen, so my two best friends came, got the train up, and we went for brunch beforehand.‘As my friends pointed out, I love making an occasion out of anything, so that’s exactly what I did for this.’While some brides are typically overwhelmed by the selection, Laura admits she was dead set on what she wanted from day one.

I think I’ve tried on so many dresses, like, just dresses in general, over the last couple of years, between just random events and award ceremonies and stuff.

I know what style suits me, and I had a very clear idea in my head of what I wanted to go for, and it was nothing like what any of my friends and family thought I was going for.’Secrets aren’t Laura’s strong suit, with the broadcaster eager to give not only us, but her groom to be, a glimpse of what she’s landed on.‘I cannot tell you how many times I nearly put it on my Instagram story because I’m so excited,’ she laughed.

‘Like, I show Brian everything, he’s my go to.’‘It’s killing him as well, because he’s like, “give me a clue”, and I was like, “just stop talking about it, because there’s so long to go.”‘Laura, we can’t wait!.
