I made scrambled eggs with 1 extra ingredient that made them go perfectly creamy

I added one extra ingredient to my scrambled eggs and it left them perfectly creamy.

Scrambled eggs are a staple food, perfect for breakfasts, lunches, and sometimes the occasional dinner - but they can also be rather plain if served just on their own. There are plenty of ways to spruce up your eggs, whether by adding simple seasonings or milk, Greek yoghurt, or perhaps some cream, but another option is to add some Boursin cheese. Realising I had some Boursin in the fridge, and two eggs left in a carton, I looked up a recipe to combine the two together and stumbled upon AllRecipe 's Boursin scrambled eggs.

I quickly opted to give this a go for my lunch, simply having it atop a piece of toast. This recipe was super simple, and the Boursin didn't just add extra taste to the dish but also made it the perfect level of creaminess. It is definitely a recipe I will make again.

Although this particualr recipe called for half-and-half, I skipped adding this, and the recipe still worked. I also skipped garnishing with fresh parsley or chives, which I'll actually add the next time I make this recipe if I have them. Ingredients (serves one) Two large eggs A pinch of salt A small knob of unsalted butter One or two tablespoons of Boursin G arlic and Fine Herbs spreadable cheese Freshly ground black pepper Chopped fresh parsley or chive Method Crack the eggs into a small bowl.

Season with the salt and pepper and whisk together. Meanwhile, melt the butter over low-medium heat; when it starts to bubble, then pour in the egg mixture. Gently swirl the eggs around in circles without stopping for about 20-30 seconds or until small curds begin to form.

Then switch from making circles to making long sweeps across the pan until you see larger curds begin to form, likely another 20 seconds. When the eggs are close to being done, then fold in the cheese. When the eggs are softly set and still a little runny then remove the skillet and set aside for about 20 to 35 seconds.

Garnish with chives or parsley to taste. Then serve immediately..
