We all understand the importance of eating healthily, but occasionally it's perfectly fine to indulge. Some people might order a pizza, others enjoy their favourite sweets or crisps, while a few could just savour a delicious chocolate bar. For me, nothing satisfies my sweet tooth quite like a milkshake.

The creamy delight sends my eyes rolling to the back of my head as if I'm in a smooth, chocolate-filled dreamland. From the soft texture to the outstanding taste, there's nothing that compares. You can't go wrong with a classic vanilla, chocolate or strawberry flavour, but my personal favourites are the chocolate ones - from Oreo to Lotus Biscoff.

Over the years, I've sampled a variety of branded milkshake flavours as well as those from independent shake shops. However, I had yet to try a Five Guys milkshake. The brand has gained global recognition for its burgers and shakes.

The American-diner style restaurant has become one of the UK's most popular eateries, amassing a loyal fanbase – including celebrity fans such as Tommy Fury, Harry Styles, Mollie King, Ed Sheeran and Maya Jama. Therefore, I had high expectations before sampling one of their shakes for the first time. On the menu, there are classic flavours like Oreo, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Biscoff, Peanut Butter, chocolate, fresh strawberries, fresh banana, salted caramel and mango.

There's also a unique bacon flavour - I'm not sure how I feel about that one. Recently, Five Guys launched an all-new, limited-edition popcorn flavoured shake. A spokesperson for Five Guys told Mirror: "This game-changing shake combines popcorn syrup and real popcorn pieces for a taste sensation worthy of the big screen.

Get ready for a show-stopping treat, exclusively at Five Guys." The fast food eatery has taken the classic movie snack and spun it into a creamy, dreamy milkshake experience. I decided to try the blockbuster combination to see if it's worth purchasing.

It premiered last month and is available for a limited time only. A video shared on Five Guys YouTube page, promoting the milkshake, has raked in over 13,000 views. I managed to get my hands on one and was left stunned by its flavour.

Of course I had to get whip cream on top (Image: Lucy Marshall) I collected mine from a chain in Leeds city centre where I was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. They even gave me extra straws - we all want to save the turtles but paper straws only last a couple of sips before turning into a soggy nightmare. Maned with my straws after ordering my shakes - popcorn for me, Oreo for my partner - I was ready to dive in.

When pondering what popcorn flavour would taste like I assumed it would be vanilla-like with toffee added to create a toffee popcorn flavour, and the description of popcorn pieces inside the shake initially did not have me sold. However, I was wowed. The words "oh my God" slowly came out of my mouth following the first sip.

It was like diving into a bucket of popcorn head first and calling it home. The scent was unreal. The texture was super smooth and the toffee popcorn bits added an extra pizzazz to the whole thing.

Five Guys have outdone themselves with this flavour - it is genuinely the best milkshake I have ever had. The only thing I would change is I think as part of the limited edition releaser, some other unique flavours could have been included too. Perhaps other flavours you find at a cinema - from Tango Ice Blasts, nachos and hot dogs.

Now I've seen bacon and popcorn on the menu, whipping up my suggestions should be a dream. The milkshake is now available now for dine-in and takeaway in Five Guys restaurants across the country, as well as for delivery on UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo..
