Hyderabad: Vendor held for sexually assaulting 7-yr-old boy

A seven-year-old boy was allegedly lured and sexually assaulted by a fruit vendor under the Kukatpally police station limits. Although, the incident occurred on November 15, a case was registered recently. According to Kukatpally SI K.

Ramakrishna, the accused was arrested and sent to judicial remand. On November 15 afternoon, the accused allegedly lured the victim into giving him fruits near Sheshadrinagar, Kukatpally, took the child to his godown and sexually assaulted him. Hearing child’s screams, his uncle, who was around looking for him, entered the godown and found the boy in a bathroom.



When boy’s uncle tried to catch hold of the accused, he threatened him with a knife and fled. A few days later, when the boy went to the market with his father and uncle, they saw the fruit vendor. The child told about the incident to his father.

The father then took the accused to the police station, where a case was registered. Later, the accused was arrested and sent to judicial remand..
