The police seized fake educational certificates, laptops, a printer, a motorcycle, mobile phones and other articles from the suspects. Acting on a tip off, the team caught Mohd Habeeb (32), owner of ‘Fly Abroad’ consultancy services, who is a resident of Bazar Guard along with his accomplices Raziullah Khan (35), Syed Khaleeludin (36), Saqlain Ahmed (25), Syed Moinuddin (31) and Mohammed Wajahath Ali.

Two others, Rahul Tiwari and Sushil Kumar, of Uttar Pradesh are absconding. YVS Sudheendra, DCP Task Force, said Habeeb had formed a network of agents in the city and a few districts in both the Telugu States and through them was carrying out his illegal activities. The agents would search for persons planning to go abroad or get some good jobs and offer to arrange educational certificates for them.



“After collecting an amount between Rs.1 lakh and Rs.1.

5 lakh, Habeeb would place the order for the certificates with Rahul and Sushil. Both of them would make the certificates and send it through courier service to the city,” said Sudheendra. Habeeb was previously involved in similar cases and was arrested by the Bahadurpura, Nampally, Saroornagar and Chaderghat police.

“After coming out of jail, he resumed his activities again. He had agents spread across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,” said the official. The police identified a few persons who had obtained the certificates from Habeeb and action was being initiated against them also, the police maintained.
