twitter.com/LtI23jzRhz Hill, a former wide receiver, has battled a plantar fascia injury for most of this season but has been a standout when on the field. By Pro Football Focus, he’s ranked as the 11th-best cornerback in the Big Ten among those with at least 200 snaps played this season.
In six games this year, he’s recorded 16 tackles, 11 stops, one pressure, an interception — which he returned for a touchdown — and allowed just two touchdowns. Before the season, the 6-foot, 200-pound corner was one of nine Huskers named to a Senior Bowl watch list.
It’s still possible others, like Nash Hutmacher, Ben Scott, Thomas Fidone and Jahmal Banks could get invites, but Hill is the first to punch his ticket to the event. The 2025 Senior Bowl will be held on Feb. 1.
