Hunt for gunman after shots fired during home invasion in Brisbane

An unknown man forced his way inside the home and was confronted by a man and woman.

Police were called to a property on Edith Street in Deagon just around midnight after reports of a disturbance. Initial investigations indicate an unknown man forced his way inside the home and was confronted by a man and woman.

(Nine) The offender allegedly then fired shots towards a kitchen chair while the pair hid. He is believed to have fled in a white Subaru Outlander a short time later.



Police said the man and woman did not suffer injuries but were taken to hospital as a precaution. No items were stolen in the incident. Police are probing whether the victims and the offender are known to each other.
