Huge new adventure park set to open near English village with water attraction, outdoor trails and summer festivals

A NEW adventure park could open in the South of England. Plans have been submitted to build a park with wakeboarding, open water swimming and a free children's play area on the Devon -Cornwall border. 4 The park will be on Polson Farm near the village of Lifton Credit: Alamy 4 Designs reveal the wooden clad buildings on the park Credit: Polson Park A couple, Mel and Ed, have revealed they want to transform their farmland found near the village of Lifton into a fun adventure park.

On their website that illustrates what the potential park will look like, they said: "Our dream is to transform this farmland into a stunning park that offers a plethora of activities both on and off newly dug lakes. "Picture this: a cozy café, scenic walking paths, and communal areas nestled alongside exhilarating water-based activities like swimming, paddle-boarding, wakeboarding, and an aqua park." The community spaces are areas of the park that can be used to host small local events like food festivals and markets. These will be accessible walking paths and a children’s play area will be free of charge. At the moment, the park is only in the early stages with planning permission still needing to be granted. They have also asked for feedback from the community and local businesses.

If all goes to plan, they are hoping to have their first season in the summer of 2026.
