For Dallas, Leah Ricardo scored a team-best four times. Ella English and Sarah Snowdon added two goals apiece. Haley Pointek and Jules Menendez led Pittston with two goals apiece. Scranton Prep 17, Hazleton Area 6: In Scranton, McKenna Toolan scored four goals, Claire McGrath added three goals and Scranton Prep topped Hazleton Area in a Wyoming Valley Conference victory at home. Macie Maylath paced Hazleton Area with two goals and an assist.

Tunkhannock 19, Wilkes-Barre Area 2: At Tunkhannock, Kayla Griffin scored six goals, Maddie Bevan had four goals and Tunkhannock defeated Wilkes-Barre Area in a Wyoming Valley Conference victory at home. Maria Cannella added a goal and seven assists, while Aliyah Faux had a hat trick. Aliana Reese and Ava Mondulick scored the lone goals for Wilkes-Barre Area.

Boys tennis Wyoming Seminary 5, Holy Redeemer 0: Billy Hall picked up the victory over Frank Klimovitz at No. 1 singles, and Wyoming Seminary remained perfect in the Wyoming Valley Conference with a victory over Holy Redeemer. Hall, undefeated at one singles, won in straight sets — 6-1, 7-6 (6) — over Klimovitz, another one of the top players in the conference.

Stefan Zecar and Luka Radovanovic were also victorious in singles. Singles: Hall over Klimovitz, 6-1, 7-6 (6). Zecar over White, 6-2, 6-2.

Orozco-Fiorillo (WS) over Mazza-Tang, 6-0, 6-1. Softball Wyoming Area 5, Hanover Area 0: At Wyoming Area, Josie Kivak and Marissa Giardina each had two hits to pace Wyoming Area to a WVC Division 2 victory. Renee Haddock added a triple, and Alexa Gasek struck out seven in the win.

Holy Redeemer 3, Berwick 0: At Casey Field, Lauren Hayden ripped two doubles, and Anne Carter twirled a shutout as the Royals picked up a WVC win. Mary Lombardi added two hits, and Bella Boylan scored twice. Carter struck out 12 in the victory.

Emma Welsh had two of the five Bulldog hits. Northwest Area 15, Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech 0 (3 inn): In Bloomsburg, Northwest Area scored eight runs in the third inning to seal a run-rule victory. Addisyn Diltz was 3 for 3 with three RBIs, while Jenna Robaczewski added two doubles, drove in three and threw a three-inning perfect game with seven strikeouts.

Abigail Everett also had two hits in the win. Boys volleyball Holy Redeemer 3, Nanticoke Area 0: At Nanticoke, Josh Rocha had 34 kills to lead Holy Redeemer past Nanticoke, 25-15, 25-17 and 25-20. Rocha added six blocks, five assists and four digs.

Jack Wasiakowski ended with 33 assists, 14 points and six digs, and Max Mohutsky had six kills, eight points and eight digs. For the Trojans, Brady Rushton had 15 assists, five kills and three blocks. Ethan Yendrzeiwski added five blocks and five kills, and Zachary Zubritski had five kills and five digs.

Delaware Valley 3, Berwick 0: In Matamoras, the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the year, losing at Delaware Valley, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-16. Jayden Charles had six kills, nine digs and six points to lead Berwick. Chris Reyes had four kills and two aces, and teammate Rocco Romeo had five kills.

Boys track and field Northwest Area 96, Holy Redeemer 48: At Shickshinny, Northwest’s Caleb Clink won three events, and the Rangers beat Holy Redeemer. Clink won the 100 (11.4), 400 (53.

Wyoming Area 110, Lake-Lehman 40: At Wyoming Area, Taylor Gashi had a big night, and the Warriors got past the Black Knights. Gashi swept all the jumps, winning the triple (36-10), long (17-0) and high (4-7), and also taking first in the discus (103-7). For Lake-Lehman, Alana Palmaoli was first in the 1,600 (6:01) and the 3,200 (13:00).
