AI-based HR firm Phenom on Tuesday said it has acquired Tydy, also a human resources technology company, to strengthen its on-boarding employees for companies. The company did not disclose any financial details of the acquisition. This is the fifth acquisition for Phenom.

Tydy’s employee data platform will reduce manual effort from human resources (HR), IT and operations teams to easily achieve compliance through automation. “With the addition of Tydy, we’re poised to empower organisations to ensure their employees are productive from day one on the job. This solves a crucial need to complete the necessary operational steps, verifications, and documentation leading up to an employee’s first day,” said Sivanand Akella, senior vice president, engineering, Phenom.
