Police in JIgawa State has arrested a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda for allegedly conspiring with her ex-lover to kill her husband, Kamisu Haruna. Spokesman of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident in a statement issued to DAILY POST. According him, “the police received report that a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, from Bagata Gabas village, Kiyawa LGA, has been accused of conspiring with her ex-lover, Lawan Musa, 22, to poison her husband, Kamisu Haruna, 29.

” Shiisu said police investigation revealed that Zahra’u poisoned her husband’s food, which he shared with two friends. He said all three developed severe stomach aches, and one of the friends died while receiving treatment. “The case is under investigation,’ he added.
