Strictly Come Dancing’s 2024 series came to an end last week and now fans can look forward to a documentary which takes a look back at the show’s history. The latest series of Strictly marked the show’s 20th anniversary and saw Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell take home the glitterball trophy. In the documentary, titled Strictly Come Dancing: 20 Fabulous Years, fans can expect to see “iconic dances” and “interviews with past contestants”, reports the Radio Times.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by BBC Strictly (@bbcstrictly) What to expect from Strictly Come Dancing documentary In a summary of the programme, Radio Times said: “This year, the pro-celebrity dance competition celebrates its 20th anniversary. “All together, 309 celebrities have taken to the floor with 22 emerging victorious, and along the way the show has served up countless magical memories. “This one-off programme, presented by regular hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, features behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with dancers, judges and contestants, delving into the evolution of the show, its cultural impact and the unforgettable moments that have made Strictly a beloved Saturday night institution”.
