MORE ON THE SHOW The OWN website goes on to explain that the show revolves around three charming, single and successful men as they embark on a high stakes search for true love, as they search for a lasting partner among a group of extraordinary women who just happen to be single.
But bear in mind an unusual twist is at hand. OWN reports that each of their moms will come along for the ride and they’ll be an integral part of the adventure, offering their guidance, support and of course a little drama as they help — or perhaps attempt to help — their sons find Miss Right. Through some competitive challenges, a few bonding activities and plenty of heartfelt moments, the moms play a crucial and sometimes hostile role in determining if mother really knows best when it comes to matters pertaining to the heart.
HERE’S THE SCOOP Each bachelor will be introduced to four women — each one with very high standards of their own. The ladies are naturally eager to meet their potential match. However, they’re sure to be shocked when they discover that the moms will not only be guiding their sons through the entire experience — but they will also be living under the same roof with their sons and the daters.
And unlike many other dating shows, even after the men (and their moms) think they’ve found their perfect match — it doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. These single women are independent and successful on their own, and the men need to prove themselves worthy of a happily ever after relationship with them. “#Somebody’s Son” is produced for OWN by Sirens Media, an ITV America company.
