The 59th edition of the FIS Alpine World Cup will be kicking off with a traditional stop in Soelden, Austria this week, and some of the world's best alpine skiers will be competing. Switzerland's Olympic champions Marco Odermatt and Lara Gut-Behrami will be looking to defend their overall titles this season, but American star Mikaela Shiffrin will surely pose a threat in the women's competition.
