Easter is just one month away and with a plethora of sweet treats already available in supermarkets , one chef has shared how to make your own Domino’s cookies at home. Nate Anthony, the brains behind Bored of Lunch, revealed just how easy it is to make some of your favourite takeaway treats in your own kitchen. To get you ready for the Easter festivities, Nate explained just how easy it is to create, needing just two ingredients.
What’s even better is that the cookies can be baked completely in the air fryer. In a recent TikTok video, Nate said: “If you like the Domino’s Creme Egg cookies, you can make them in your air fryer.” If Creme Eggs aren’t your thing, you can use the Cadbury Caramel Eggs instead.
To make the recipe even simpler, you don’t have to make your own cookie dough, but buy shop-bought instead. Nate’s video has already been viewed over a massive 920,600 times, receiving 22,000 likes and 170 comments. Laura offered some advice: “Freeze the eggs first, saves them spilling as much.
” Lou said: “I'm definitely going to try this recipe looks so good.” Karen wrote: “Made these today they are extremely sweet but yummy,” while Anita commented, “Woe, definitely making these.” So if you’re looking for a new Easter treat to try out, this is what you’ll need.
Ingredients 350g Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough (two packets for 6 eggs) 6 Creme or Caramel Eggs Method Take your pre-made cookie dough and divide it into six equal portions. If making six cookies, you'll need two pieces per cookie. Flatten each portion into a round circle.
Place a Creme Egg on top of one of the flattened dough pieces, then cover it with another piece of dough. Seal the edges, ensuring there are no gaps to prevent the Creme Egg from leaking during baking. Place the cookies in a lined air fryer basket and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Allow the cookies to set for ten to 15 minutes before enjoying. The cookie dough balls can be frozen for a later date if you don’t want to cook them immediately..
