Secret behind his successUnlike most teens of his age, Om consciously stayed away from mobile phones and social media during his preparation, choosing instead to focus on 8–9 hours of rigorous self-study every day. His routine included detailed test analysis and a disciplined approach to learning from mistakes. For mental relaxation, he opted for reading novels rather than scrolling through screens.
His mantra was to focus on the present, not dwell on the past. His father, Kamlakant Behera, is an officer in the Odisha Administrative Services, while his mother, Smita Rani Behera, is a college lecturer who took a three-year career break to relocate to Kota and support her son’s ambitions.Om joined the regular classroom program at Allen Career Institute in Kota after scoring 92% in his Class 10 exams. He attributed much of his success to the institute’s structured study material and the highly competitive ecosystem that pushed him to stay sharp.
