(NEXSTAR) – The winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament will earn a huge chunk of change along with that sweet green jacket, but the runners-up aren’t exactly playing for peanuts either.The total purse for the 2025 Masters Tournament is $21 million, with the winner set to take home a little over $4.1 million — the most in Masters history.

A significant increase from last year when Scottie Scheffler took home $3.6 million for winning.But that leaves just under $16.

The rest of the competitors will receive smaller payouts depending on their scores, but even the player who finished 50th in the rankings will earn over $52,000.

In the case of a tie, the golfers who finish with the same score receive the average of the cash sums for their ranking.
