How many bank branches are there left in Cambridgeshire?

New figures have revealed the number of bank branches that are left across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Consumer watchdog Which? has broken down the data per constituency, as well as the percentage of branches that have closed since 2015. The statistics reveal North West Cambridgeshire as the area most affected by closures, with 85.7% lost and just one bank branch remaining.

St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire has lost 66.7% with three branches remaining, North East Cambridgeshire 61.1% with seven left, Ely and East Cambridgeshire 60% with four remaining and Peterborough 40% with 12 left.



Early next year, several more branches are set to close, including Barclays in St Neots, Lloyds in St Ives and Halifax and Lloyds in Wisbech. Before that, Lloyds bank on March High Street is to close in October 2024.
