Or as these stunning celebs prove, it's the perfect squeaky clean setting for a soapy selfie or two - and they certainly know how to pose to get fans in a lather. Sex siren and actress Sydney Sweeney, 27, sent fans into a frenzy when she shared snaps of herself sitting in a bath of bubbles to plug a brand new shower gel range for men.
Promoting the products on Instagram the starlet says: “Hello you dirty little boys. Are you interested in my body . .
wash? “Well you can’t have it because this isn’t for boys. It’s for men.” One very happy follower commented: “They finally found the advertising secret.
I’m buying two of whatever she’s selling.” And there's a reason why women like Sydney opt for a sud-soaked shoot - body language expert Judi James says it's the perfect chance to create a demure-yet-sexy look. "Just looking at the photo triggers thoughts of steam, suds, soapy smells or scents, and the relaxing feel of the hot water. "The bath is also the perfect ‘excuse’ for the nude pic. There can even be a hint of invitation in the pose but the body language will always be keeping it clean and even a little innocent at the same time.

'Smart-sexy' ironic Sydney scrubs up impressively well if these recent bubble bath snaps are anything to go by. Most read in Celebrity She's the new face of the Dr Squatch shower gel and body wash and in their ad she appears in a puff of smoke as a group of men say, “Sydney Sweeney, body wash genie”. Judi says the star knows exactly what she's trying to achieve: "Sydney exploits her ‘smart-sexy’ ironic, cool brand to the max here," she explains.
"It allows her to adopt a pose of pure cheese, issuing innuendo-heavy lines to ‘dirty little boys out there’ while avoiding upsetting the woke brigade. "With her breasts lifted to show cleavage rising from the suds and her mouth open in a provocatively suggestive pose, Sydney holds the product she is promoting aloft with a hint of invitation in her eye expression. "She’s the advertiser’s dream.
" Showing nothing, implying everything Pregnant Georgia May Jagger, 34, oozed sophistication recently as she shared a relaxed bath time pic. The stunning model made the most of her natural beauty with tousled hair and no makeup, while posing in a classy freestanding country bath. Judi says: "Georgia makes full use of the fact that the bath pose allows her to show nothing but imply everything here.
"We know she’s naked, which makes the pose rather daring, but in fact she’s only revealing her bare shoulders and arms. "Her make-up-free face looks pink from the steam though and her steam-tousled hair ripples over her face as she peers out at the camera. "This is a narrative pose, with the retro bath and telescope making it look as though she’s taking part in a romantic TV drama.
" 'High drama, high glamour' Posing on the side of the tub wearing nothing but a carefully placed dressing gown, Amanda Holden , 53, exuded glamour in this carefully constructed shoot. Judi says: "This is a typical high-drama, high-glamour pose from Amanda who sits on the edge of the bath allowing her white robe to ‘tumble’ artfully as her legs stretch out with her toes ‘en pointe’. "She looks sexily damp from the bath here as she scoops her hair up with one hand and laughs with her eyes to camera.
"This is old-school, high-end, ‘ass’s milk’ posing, projecting a sense of gold-tap luxury and pampering to show off her rank in terms of star status." A hint of side-boob Race Across The World star Kelly Brook wowed her followers as she stripped off completely naked for a bath in one of Port Lympne’s famous lion lodges with hubby Jeremy. Judi says: "Kelly cleverly manages to shock here in a thirst-trap, ‘naked’ pose that actually reveals very little.
"This is a fresh air, outdoor, log-cabin look where she appears to be baring all to nature with her arms up in a pit-bare gesture that signals total confidence and feelings of freedom, peace and safety. "By posing back-view she adds an iconic touch with a strong, shapely-looking back that is stunningly curvy. "Add a hint of side-boob for the fans and Kelly shows exactly why she has been one of the leading glamour models for many years and how she can still give the modern selfie queens a run for their money.
" 'Daring & cool thirst-trap' OnlyFans starlet Lottie Moss 's pose certainly stands out for being daring and sexy, but her surroundings are among the more 'normal' settings. Judi says: "This is probably the most relatable bathroom with B&Q-looking tiles and some bog-standard products strewn at the end. "Lottie’s producing a pose that almost seems to show an ironic challenging, controversial take on all things thirst trap here, emerging from the water with an air of decadence, with a fag in one hand and a couple of huge heart emojis covering her boobs.
"Her hair looks genuinely wet and her eyes look down in a cut-off that manages to make her look demure and sexy all at the same time. "It’s the same daring, cool edginess that her sister was known for and a slightly sarcastic-looking take on all the more glamorous centrefold poses celebs can be known for." A 'meaningful eye gaze'.
.. But awkward Legs stretched out, Kourtney Kardashian , 45, lounges back effortlessly in a luxuriously large bath while husband Travis Barker , 48, snaps away.
Judi says: "Kourtney’s pose looks like a family shot aimed emphatically at Travis which makes her meaningful eye-gaze look like a specific message or invite to him rather than one that talks direct to the fans. "This looks like a family bath tub, too, as she uses the suds to form the shape of a white evening gown that allows her to feature her stretched legs and feet. "Her actual pose looks a little awkward though, as she’s resting on her elbows, possibly suffering for her art, and her expression suggests she’d like to get out and dry off.
" 'Status and success' Love Island star Maura Higgins , 33, looks happy and content as she enjoys a lavish pampering session in the tub, complete with a glass of wine. Judi says: "Maura’s bath tub pose is all about projecting symbols and body language poses of status and success. "It’s clearly a pampering, self-rewarding experience for her rather than just a dip in the tub at home, and she gleefully shows off the view, the hotel robe, the champagne and even the under-eye patches in poses that seem to celebrate her own success and celebrity status.
"She seems to be showing she’s reached a career peak here and is revelling in every minute of it, showing a back view with just hair to hint how she leaving all those other ex-Love Island wannabes in her wake. A glorious, shameless boast that says ‘I made it!’." Sexy suds shot Fellow Love Islander Megan Barton-Hanson , 30, made sure to command attention on Instagram when she shared a pulse-racing naked snap in her bubble bath.
Judi says: "This is a 'scrunchie' bathtub pic as Megan looks cramped into a very small tub here, with her legs folded up rather than stretching luxuriously. "She's wearing the suds as her outfit, but her full make-up and that very dry-looking hair suggest this was a contrived pose with no pretention to creating anything that looks like it was just snapped spontaneously on a normal bath night." An 'eye for detail' Molly-Mae Hague , 25, knows how to keep it classy, and this subtle shot among neutral white marble and cream walls is testament to that.
Judi says: "Posing back view with just her bare shoulders showing, her body language focus is that bared nape of the neck, which she holds in both of her hands, with her hair swept elegantly up in a French pleat. "This is a masterclass in showing little but also showing a very erotic, sensitive body part. "And every hair, nail and bath tap looks perfect here, showing an eye for detail and of love of being in control.
" 'Part luxury, part functional' Mum-of-three Helen Flanagan, 34, was cruelly mum-shamed when she posted a naked bath video, but she looked comfortable and relaxed nonetheless. Judi says: "There’s almost something innocent-looking about Helen’s bathtub pose as she scrunches her knees up in front of her torso and holds a razor aloft as though about to give a masterclass in hair removal. "That cheeky glass of wine in the other hand creates an intriguing blend of bath posing signals, making her body language messaging look part luxury and part functional here.
"The cute head tilt suggests some humour though, as though she’s about to use that razor as a swizzle-stick in her drink. Cutely sexy, but also a girl’s girl look here." 'A fresh, natural pose' Liz Hurley , 59, is the queen of a glamorous photo shoot, and knows exactly what poses to pull to attract maximum attention and compliments.
Judi says: "Liz's pose reflects the sense of joy of life and good health as she throws both arms up and offers a sweet, asymmetric smile to the camera. "It’s a more fresh, natural-looking pose from the woman known for giving her all to the art of bikini posing. "Despite the implication of being naked beneath those suds it’s also cheering and celebrating health rather than anything too sensual-looking.
